XB808'11 & XT8 Win the RC Pro Series Race, USA |

I raced the RC Pro Series on May 21st and 22nd. It was a good weekend with a 130+ entries.
Friday was practice, the track was wet in the morning but was good to go after lunch. It was a fun track with some nice jumps and a fun layout. Both the truggy and the buggy were feeling good. I have raced this track before and I use my standard setup so the main thing was learning the new track. As the day went on the track dried out and both my cars were very easy to drive and were handling the jumps nicely.

Saturday was qualifying for truggy and buggy. My goal was to put some good laps with no crashes. The first round I TQ'd both classes and was feeling very confident with the cars. After the success in the first round I continued the same plan and TQ'd the other 2 rounds in both classes. At the end of the day I could not have asked for a better day, everything was running perfectly with no problems.
Sunday was main day. I spent a good amount of time rebuilding the cars the night before and was ready to go for the 45 minute mains. Truggy was first, Matt Gosch and myself pulled away for the first 5 or 6 minutes, while battling in every corner. After some tough racing Gosch had a crash and I slowly pulled away. The truck was very good and I believe I was only cornered twice during the whole main. |

The Buggy main was second and I was starting out front. From the start I led every lap, my car was not only fast but was easy to drive. It is hard to find both but with the diffs at 5,000 front, 3,000 center, and 5,000 rear the car felt very good.
Overall the weekend was a huge success. No breakdowns and come good racing. |
